Hey, I think I remember seeing you play with this at Skypark ??

definitely use it! Just make sure that you don't leave it alone unsupervised for any length of time - I have a feeling a guy named McCarron might be looking for one! :)

How is this any different than a golfer taking advantage of the rules to make a favorable drop? The rules state that this wedge is legal to use. It is not up to you to decide what conforms and what does not. Until then, use it and don't be ashamed!

I don't see what the issue is, I had ping eye 2 and although they were very forgiving I never thought they gave me an advantage

You're the Open Champion, so representing more than just yourself this year and you're good enough to win without it anyway. No need to use it. It's not illegal to just quit and walk of the course if you're having a terrible round, but it's bad sportsmans

Use whatever you can to win, I picked you for my fantasy golf league, and so far T9 & T52 means you need to try something different! Hit 'em square!

Leave it home this week. Win, then talk about how you only wish you hadn't forgotten your wedge. Then next week start using it and thank phil for hooking you up

I've played Ping Eye 2+ for the last 5 years. Lovely clubs not 'ugly shovels'! Ask Lee Westwood. Use whatever you are allowed to. The game's hard enough anyway!

Ah, but when you win you may develop a big fat as*terisk next to your name.

Call it a loop hole, bending the rules, whatever you want, point is, the club is legal to use. McCarron can have his opinion, but it's legal to use, I say use it if you're comfortable with that club.

First off, you know it's not REALLY any better than what they can work up for you at the Oven. Secondly, if it were, and not using it cost you a win, you'd have nobody to blame but yourself. It's a perfectly legal club. "Loophole" would indicate it was un

Rules are dumb. Use them if you're legal!

I've always thought of Ping clubs as the choice for cheaters. Ugly shovels. Spirit of the rules? Why not go back to woods made out of wood? The irons might be a bit heavy. And susceptible to rust. And magnetism.

Just do it! You need to wear some of those Nike shades as well.

Used to be my favorite club. Never let me down....wish I knew where I left it.

MDougWhidden 741 days ago

Did you buy it EBay? :)

CLEGOP 741 days ago

Use it, absolutely!! And if McCarron is in this event, if you get a chance accidently hit him with a wayward shot!!

Uwahly 741 days ago

Use it till the fix the rule. Then tell mcCarron his long putter is cheating.

pirateflyer 741 days ago

Take it and use it. It's not cheating. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. McCarron should be fined for that garbage.
