Veterans. Heroes. Boys in Old Men clothes. Honored on the Mall in DC.
I'm that actor in some of the movies you liked and some you didn't. Sometimes I'm in pretty good shape, other times I'm not. Hey, you gotta live, you know?

The USS Hornet Museum thanks you, Tom, for all the hard work and dedication you have given to the veterans of our former wars. Someday when you come towards San Francisco we would be honored if you would come by the USS Hornet museum to say hello.

Hanx, On a related subject, how about a proper film about Eddie Chapman, the WWII double agent? Perhaps Colin Farrell, Ralph Feinnes, Damien Lewis or Anthony Howell as Chapman?

I'm proud to see my Sen. Tester (D-MT) there. He's the crew-cut in the front row.

Anyone notice Tom Hanks taking a cell phone pic of them? I bet they felt honored in that sense as well.

Hoping some day you will honor some other heroes...those of the CCC (Civl Conservation Corps) with a film. My 92 yr. old father-in-law has stories, thank God, and is alive to talk about it. God Bless all these men/women for so many positive contributions.
