MPs discussing the #debill ? #whatdebill ? (see http://whatdebill.org/)

If this is the turnout to the debate of a controversial bill, what happens at the less dynamic bill debates, this clearly demonstrates the notion of democracy failing.

actually, you've caught it at one of the lulls, quite a few hours into the debate. the start and end of this debate appear to much better attended.

Really awful and genuinely worrying. Such an important bill should be subjected to all the rigours of the democratic process.

This is our Government working for us?? It's a disgrace that any of them expect to be voted in.

Does the Commons (or the Lords for that matter) have a quorum? If not - why? About time it was set up so that no quorum... no debate... no vote.

Looks like @nick_clegg and the @LibDems missed a trick. If they'd have turned up en-masse they'd have stolen the lime-light.
