Today's slang lesson! There has been a trend to finish a word with "っ" (we call it as 小さい”つ”?chiisai "tsu") =small "つ”(=tsu) * 眠い=ねむい=nemui (sleepy) →ねむっ！(nemú) Like it or not, you will see or hear this everywhere in Japan now. (There is a TV show called 「お試しかっ！」(=Otameshiká) as well!) Other examples : * 暑い/熱い=あつい=atsui (hot)=あつっ！(Atsú) * うまい=umai (delicious)=うまっ！(Umá) * 早い＝はやい=hayai (fast)=早っ！or はやっ！(Hayá) *遅い=おそい=osoi (slow) =遅っ！ or おそっ！(Osó) *でかい=dekai (big) =でかっ！ (Deká) *きもい=kimoi (disgusting) =きもっ！ (Kimó) *辛い=karai (spicy ) =からっ！ (Kará) What do you think about my Twitpic Lessons? すごっ！Sugó(←すごい=Sugoi)
