it's a car stereo deck with an sd card slot, you put a heap of mp3s on a 4GB sd card, insert and play. Much more portable than a heap of cd's, although it has a cd player too. I got it off eBay about 3 years ago for $130, 4 x 60W, it's turned out to be the best car deck I've had.
