I've never seen Hummingbirds winter here B4 (lived here going on 24 yrs)...& this winter hasn't exactly been mild, so it's surprising. I'm wondering if it came down from Canada & thought this was *south*. :o)

Wow! That's fantastic! We have hummers come up from Mexico or wherever they winter - around April. Never been able to find their nest, tho'. They eat outside my office window at the feeder we maintain for them.

This is a tiny hummingbird nest in my backyard (w/two babies). The Mom flies around during day, driving my kitties nuts, and she sits on the nest at night to keep them warm. Very sweet! ♥

Lovely! I have robins that made a nest near my door and come every spring to raise the next brood. It gets funny when they get really big and crowd the nest. hugs.I adore birds.
