I think the skimmer is already in place on this pic, the upward arrows are too close.
I'm sure Mikko may correct me, but I do believe that's where the card goes in - and where a skimmer is placed. The camera set-up above captures key presses (ie. PIN) and possibly any other detail - Even perhaps the card's design for reproduction..
