El UARS, con 20 años de edad y tamano de un autobús de 6.5 toneladas, está cayendo fuera de órbita y entra a la tierra algún tiempo este viernes 23 de Sept. Es imposible decir exactamente dónde. Las posibilidades son escasas de una persona vea cualquiera de las 26 piezas surtidas de satélite de investigación de atmósfera superior (UARS) que se espera que sobrevivan reingreso a la atmósfera. Las posibilidades de que alguien, en algún lugar en el planeta, sea afectada por uno de esos fragmentos son 1 en 3,200. The UARS 20 year-old bus-sized, 6.5-ton, satellite is falling out of orbit and likely to hit Earth some time Friday. It is impossible to say exactly where. The chances are slim that anyone will see any of the 26 assorted pieces of the Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (UARS) that are expected to survive reentry into the atmosphere. The chances that someone, somewhere on the planet, will be hit by one of those chunks are 1 in 3,200. So don’t worry! :-)
