I'm envious. Would like to have both a new PC and a Mac. Working with the Federal government, a PC is a must, but a Mac for fun would be nice.

It weighs a ton! We have the older macbook in white but that one you are buying is the right machine for you!

You won't be sorry; I buried myself in debt to get a Mac desktop and have not once regretted it.

You will love your Macbook Pro. It is so simple and easy to use. No matter where you travel with it, you can always find an Apple store to go in and ask questions. I love my Macbook Pro and my iphone.

I was surprised at how attached I became to my MacBook. Since you seem to be such a flexible and accepting person, you'll probably embrace it and integrate it in no time. I don't have a dog or cat... I have a Mac. :D
