We live in a era of Transculturalism.. meaning: merging & converging of cultures..if we simply look at equality as an element of media, then our global humanity will be reduced to a equation of diversity numbers. But, the fact remains.. equality in media drives the narrative of American and global popculture. Moreover, a nation can never reach a point of unity if it can't reflect multiculturalism (every culture having a equal voice, in a unified nation) as an example Canada. It becomes a riddle, which come first... equality or unity?

As applied to media, there is a symbiotic nature between the two. Voice is the trumpet call to specific enclaves that are woven around the global sphere. Women, Asian, or people from Poland. Equality in media projections, must shift into reflections of a people, even the smallest voice must be heard.. Equality in media considers children as a center piece of exposition: cultural stewardship.  Dress and music, are simply culture keys, that can bring us closer to understanding what is different, or the same values, globally via_ culture lexicons. Media is just a carrier of a message, no more then a cell phone has a callers voice. However, is there is no equality in media, then conversely the message skews towards representations, not organic reflections: Value Exchange. 

Years ago, my Partner @jackyan and I had a chat about legal vs culture equality, and we began to build MBC. Equality, is not simply having an Asian American face in an Adv..it is allowing Japanese American, or Cuban Americans to reflect their own value system as applied to needs and wants, in the broader context of
sustainable global economics.  OCCUPY is an outgrowth of global inequality.

Yet, for us as a worldwide society to advance, in a sustainable manner, equality must also reform the construct of popculture imagery, wealth, voters rights, equal pay for women, the right for women to voice their collective opinions. The great Americana of the past was barns, little streams to fish.. Christian ethics. Today Ward and June Cleaver's era is passe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ward_Cleaver ). Jose and Maria from Cuba also seek some of the same securities afforded in a unified nation. The New Americana is has emerged, it has shifted! Yet the collective voices have yet to be heard. When they do, clients will profit because of greater reach, and the family structure will be enhanced by education, legacy and future hopes, and prosperity via_ equality.

Well, that is a future look equality and the media; strip the skin hue & gender bias. Truth is, America's inequality is directly linked to the economic crisis.. branding plays an extreme role, it can unify, create demand for jobs, bridge cultures.. and help build a one stronger global culture, called humanity.  Sorry for the draft nature of
