Soft spot for seniors? Meet Billy the 13 yr. old Boxer who was brought to the Woodbridge Animal Shelter and reported as a stray by HIS OWN FAMILY who didn't want him anymore. They didn't even have the heart to help him get out of the car and treated him as if they didn't care. Needless to say, Billy didn't want to leave his people and even clawed to get back to them. Their response was to simply drive away. Billy is deaf and is scared. He will be heartworm and lyme tested this week, hopefully he will test negative because his life was spent tethered outdoors. This boy deserves only the best from this point on. He is thoroughly enjoying the comforts of indoor living, especially the nice cozy blankets.
