#CUBE: Combination & Unification of Balanced Elements. Decagram w/Hanzi labeling. #mysticism #magic (@matoakit) ---------- ABOUT: CUBE combines the Chinese Wŭ Xíng system, with the Japanese Godai system. As a Decagram, I used my best judgment to divide them into a Yang Pentagram which contains the emissive Elements (shown upright), and a Yin Pentagram which contains the absorptive Elements (shown inverted). Since Godai is more or less identical to the most common system used by Western Neopagans today, this also solved the East-West Unification problem. ---------- LEGEND: Until I get a bilingual version up, here's a translation key for the Hanzi representing the Elements (you'll need Unicode and a Chinese font on your machine for this to work): Yang Pentagram (Upright/Lighter): -- 空: Spirit/Æther -- 金: Metal -- 火: Fire -- 光: Light -- 風: Wind Yin Pentagram (Inverted/Darker): -- 無: Space/Nothingness -- 木: Wood -- 水: Water -- 影: Shadow -- 土: Earth ---------- NOTES: This looks a lot cleaner with Hanzi (Chinese character) labeling -- which uses only one character per Element -- than trying to write it in English. I may make a Chinese/English version later on.
