Dogs and cats have been dumped left and right and the owners went on vacation to spend Christmas with their families. Not sure what they believe in because this is not what Christmas is about! Many pets are going to be euthanized just because they became an inconvenience to have around over the holidays. State of Tennessee Law says that Owner Surrenders can be killed IMMEDIATLY. Even though they are many times the MOST adoptable animals - MOST Directors still kill them first anyway...There are enough places for all the animals in the animal control facilities in the country. Most Animal Control Directors don't do enough to get them out - and county governments don't either. THANK YOU Shawnie's!!!
