Sandstone carving of Amun, the Egyptian sky God who came to be regarded as a sun God and the head of the Egyptian pantheon, with chin beard, flat headdress, the Uraeus cobra symbol, a cartouche, Egyptian symbols and hieroglyphics. Broken and re-adhered. Mounted on a black base. New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty.
