The Pork Passport Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on June 7, 2013 at 7:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) and ends on June 8, 2013 at 10:00 PM CT (“Sweepstakes Period”). ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age and attendees of the 2013 BlogHer Food Conference taking place at the Austin Hilton (hereafter, the “Conference”) in Austin, TX from June 7-8, 2013. Employees of National Pork Board (“Sponsor”), Weber Shandwick, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies, and members of their immediate family (spouse and parent, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, are not eligible to enter or win. HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, there are two (2) ways to enter; 1) Complete Activities: visit the National Pork Board takeover truck at the BlogHer Food Conference where the list of eight (8) interactive point of interest activities (identified below) will be posted (each, an “Activity”). Upon completion of each Activity, show a National Pork Board representative that you completed and a Sponsor representative will provide you with a stamp. By completing four (4) of the eight (8) Activities, subject to verification and compliance with these Official Rules, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. If you complete all eight (8) Activities, subject to verification and compliance with these Official Rules, you will receive two (2) entries into the Sweepstakes. NOTE: If you complete less than four (4) Activities, you will not receive a Sweepstakes entry. If you complete more than four (4) Activities, but less than all eight (8) Activities, you will only receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Activities must be completed by June 8, 2013 at 10:00 PM CT to be eligible for the applicable number of entries. Share a Vine of your trip to the food truck lot with the hashtag #PorkPassport.* RANDOM DRAWING: One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing held on or about June 9, 2013 from all eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Potential winner will be notified via phone and/or email and will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within 5 days of notification. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, Sponsor is unable to contact potential winner within a reasonable time period, prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be notified. If potential winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, and such parent or legal guardian will be required to fulfill all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. GRAND PRIZE (1): Winner’s choice of one (1) of the following prizes; 1) a food photography class focusing on meat photography; 2) a trip for winner and one (1) guest including dinner at the chef’s tasting table at Paul Qui’s new restaurant, Restaurant Qui in Austin, Texas. In the event the restaurant trip option is selected, if winner resides within a 100-mile radius of destination, ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof. Released Parties are not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, delayed, or destroyed, entries; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), cellular service or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether typographical, human mechanical, electronic, computer, network, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the cancellation or postponement of the Conference, the announcement of the prize or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's mobile device related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. ARBITRATION: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at the AAA regional office nearest the participant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
