It may seem as though this one-year-old goofy pup is anything but "lucky," but sweet Lucky knows that's not the case at all! Luckily for Lucky, he was adopted through our rescue, and luckily for Lucky, he was microchipped! When his family never came for him, the shelter traced his microchip back to our rescue and contacted us. When contacted, Lucky's family didn't want him back, but luckily for Lucky, we did! Our volunteers immediately went to get Lucky out of the shelter and back to the rescue. Can you help keep Lucky's luck going by sharing him so he can find a foster home to stay at until we find him a new forever home? Lucky is a puppy, and has lots of puppy energy. He would love a foster home with another energetic dog to play with, and foster parents who will exercise him and help build on his house manners and obedience. Lucky will require a securely fenced yard. Lucky is great with children, but as with all large, energetic dogs, he may accidentally knock down smaller children.
