#2014sacrificiocero #LOLATQM Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue EMERGENCY DONATIONS NEEDED FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT - At 1:30 AM Blaxx started throwing up a little blood - a short time later he started again, and he was brought to the emergency vet. By now he has thrown up countless times and it is now more blood than bile and everyone is very worried. This morning X-rays ruled out blockage, tests ruled out parvo, rat poison and a few other things... we await the results of other testing tomorrow but despite fluids and medication, he just had to be brought back to be admitted for observation because he continues to throw up red blood. We and the vet think it may be a bleeding ulcer-- caused by what? No one knows at this point. His foster moms are very careful and vigilant. This morning the total bill was $800 and his estimate for further testing and hospitalization is up to AN ADDITIONAL $2,300. That is a total of $3,100. We desperately need your help as at this time of year funds are very tight. Blaxx is a Pit Bull pup who was rescued from the Brooklyn ACC and is now about 7 months old. He had to be treated for demodex mange and just as he was becoming officially available for adoption, has to endure this.
