#Iran Friends: We have always tried to avoid sharing the horrifying pictures and news with you, but at times it becomes inevitable. For some time we had been hearing that the authorities had stopped killing the stray dogs, and instead they are picked up in vans and taken to a "shelter". After receiving emails and pictures from people who have talked with the agents who collect the dogs we learned that the horror continues behind closed doors, and even worse than before. Though these pictures leave no room for denial, we give the situation the benefit of the doubt and invite the respectful authorities to bring clarity to the story. And if there is any truth to this story, what shame is brought to humanity. Please, refrain from using indecent language in your comments, and instead lets work together to find a solution. This horror is only based in ignorance of every one involved. We long for a day that proper program to control the population of animals is taken seriously and spay and neutering will replace inhumane murder of sinless beings.
