I have a hard time saying no to people most times. I like to help people, but sometimes they try to take advantage!

I accidentally read a pause where there wasn't one, changing the subject of this book entirely: 'Don't say YES when you want to. Say NO.' ;)

That's the story of my life, too. No worries, you're not alone. I'm always kicking myself for saying yes all the time.

It takes years and years of studying (after all he's a Ph.D) to learn how to say no. Don't beat yourself over it ;)

Yes and that is a sad story, I should know. Saying yes instead of no has fucked up my life pretty badly. Hard to make up for some "yes".

Look at it this way if you don't like to say no that means you're alway trying to help people out! That's something to proud of as it's rare these days! Please don't change it one of the things that makes so special!

It doesn't hurt to say 'no', I practically say 'no' to a lot of things, mostly when people want to borrow money.

I think I was born without the "say no" gene. I can't seem to be able to say it.

Growing up in the "keep the social dynamic as flat as the land" Midwest, this indoctrination is mandatory.

Ah yes, the story of my life aswell. I keep trying to say NO,and then I get suckered into yes if they ask enough.
