6:20pm Finally... The Las Vegas lights in the distance.

5:27pm The sun had set when we crossed into Nevada.

5:02pm. Entering Arizona. Phew... That means only two hours away now!

2:38 MST - I-70 ends and merges into I-15 at Fishlake National Forest, UT.

@mtan14 ...and this kind too ;-) Don't see much of this at Western Kansas or north of Cheyenne, WY.

11:03am FINALLY.... (We stopped at Grand Junction Starbucks for Mark to catch some snooze and me to get refill - and loo!)

8:44am A glimpse of Mesa County, CO with a Garfield County airport sign. Soon we'll cross the border to Utah.

8:20am Glenwood Springs, CO - a.k.a Hot Water refill n'loo stop #2.

7:10am Entering Vail valley - a ski resort that never appeals to me! Bloody cold, damp, never had enough sunshine. NEJ Tack!

5:55am passing Central City Parkway, Central City is reportedly the place where the idea for "Sargent Pepper" was conceived.

5:26am Boxing Day 2011 - OFF to Las Vegas on a 12hrs road trip. Weather is clear as a bell in the dark.
