Happy New Year! : ) I resolve to stop eating sweets, make more art and find a (daylight hour) desk job. :P

Some seriously early snow- I can't believe it's laying! (My bulbs aren't even planted yet! This will teach me not to dawdle. xP )

The stray kitten courtesy of my $16 mini camera. He's become very lively and is a little less afraid but I'm not having much luck finding him a home. >(^.^)<

Gorgeous weather lately-- when the rain takes a break from flooding my basement. It's the last explosion of wildflowers before the growing season slips away...

Spotted this perfect nest in my rhodies while watering my poor, parched gardens. So cute!

Stopped by my favorite greenhouse today. (It's right beside the house I grew up in so I've been haunting it since I was about 6. It's always wonderfully nostalgic and revitalizing visiting there. ^_^) Snagged some peppermint (YAY!) variegated oregano and silver thyme. ♥

Back from a veerrry long hike, had dinner, a hot bath and now I have about 70 photos to clean & save. :P

A little late this year, but the crocuses are in full bloom. ♥

Froze my ever-lovin' buns off on the hillside & the moonrise *was* really gorgeous. It rose an orangey/salmon color but the 'supermoon' is only 14% bigger than usual. :P It wasn't as big as I expected and even with practice, night photography is friggin' hard.

The first homely harbinger of spring, skunk cabbage. Smelly and maybe not as pretty as other flowers, it's a thermogenic plant- it can generate its own heat enabling it to begin growing right through the ice!

It's not exactly news, but it snowed today. Very pretty. ♥

It was actually mild today so I had a much needed & refreshing ramble around the fields. The long absent sun even made an appearance. :D

A lovely sort of day today. It rained lightly all day and all the wonderful, warm autumn colors were wrapped in fog.

Fiddled with this image a bit & wish that I hadn't- now the original looks boring. :P Had a perfectly ordinary walk which was a relief after a less than pleasant morning. =__=;
