Valley of the Rocks at the head of a v narrow £1 toll road. Mercifully only came across 1 other car.

Lynmouth on a v wet and soggy afternoon.

Lovely walk in the country near Nynehead. Spring seems far closer here than in Suffolk.

Sitting in a kitchen in lovely Somerset & I noticed 1 of the mini-daffs in the photo has 2 heads!

Our wasps' nest has now been totally destroyed by ... birds? I wonder what species is responsible?

Just about to embark on a Windermere steamer. Glorious day.

In Blackpool! Magic! Lights later this evening.

Despite the heavy damage there are still wasps in residence - I wonder if they'll be able to rescue the nest?

Sadly our wasps' nest has been savaged again! I'd love to know the creature responsible! Anyone any ideas?

Noticed today that our wasps' nest has been badly mauled. By a bird? Bad weather? Wasps have repairs in hand!!

Update on our wasps' nest ... it's still there but I don't think it has grown significantly.

Lovely day for a stroll from Snape Maltings to Iken Cliffs.

See note by about plagues of wasps. This is a wasps' nest by one of our windows in Snape.
