Thanks to everyone who suggested a name for the rescued deer. We have chosen 'Rose' as suggested by Jen. Other popular suggestions included Bella, Grace and Nibbles.

An elderly Shire horse mare who came to us in July, has just surprised us with a foal 'Moonbeam' was born prematurely but is doing well.

Two deer were brought to us within two days of each other - both badly injured in road accidents. One, sadly, didn't survive his injuries. The other, shown above, is recovering well. We would like to name her based on the most popular suggestions received.

Keeping warm - here's Honey, at a week old, snuggling up between his towel-wrapped hot waterbottles. When just a day-old, Honey brought to us after being found by a road. He is just one of many newly-born piglets that have come to us after falling from transporters when their mothers have given birth on the way to the slaughterhouse!
