Thank you all for the very kind words about my Father & today's postings.

My father died 1 year ago today. This is one of my last photos of him, looking at his wife, and it's my favorite.

The day before he died he got to see his grandson Endy, who gets to live in this world b/c Jack broke a vow to God.

'There are 2 things God can't do. He can't stop loving you, and he can't stop forgiving you.' - my father.

The Stem Cell doctors told him he would get a maximum of 2 more years of life from the treatment. He took 5.

Dad: I Don't want to be rude,I'm very tired. Hospice Chaplain: You're not being rude! Dad: Good. Get the Hell out.

I spent most of 2010 with my Dad in home hospice, during which he screamed at TV news & hit on my mom mercilessly.

Once on Bill Maher's show I offered hot gay sex to Klansman David Duke. Funny, & dad forgave me after a few weeks.

C'mon, let Dad speak as part of the ceremony. What's the worst that could happen?

The same love that brought him out of the clergy kept him alive longer than any of the doctors predicted....
