Little Ringed Plover on nest at #TheSanctuaryLNR, Pride Park, Derby in 2009. Derby Council wants a race track here for bicycles, which could run right round the inside of the Local Nature Reserve they designated in 2006. It was opened in 2004 by Margaret Beckett MP when she was Secretary of State for the Environment.
