2nd draft of the lovely Gina T. Hopefully, hair is looking more flyaway & less helmetlike. Futzed some more w/the colors, highlights/shadows, & did a preliminary crop (will probably adjust that). I like how she came out rather light and sweet looking.

I think this one is done now. Tweaked the shadows, her face (this a hard angle for me), leg, cleaned up and detailed the hands, fabric, etc. Left the background alone because, even though it's rough, I like the texture and pastel quality (painted mostly w/distressed & cloud brushed). I often botch this sort of 3/4 profile angle, but I rather like how this came out. CC's gorgeousity helps motivate, I think. lol. Please no reposting or avatars.

Just a silly seascape I started years ago to show a student how to do something. Ran across it & felt like working it a bit. Yes, that is a Nessie in SF Bay. (long story) Always wanted to do series of travel posters based on the idea. Y'know, Nessie visits SF, Yeti at the Grand Canyon, Sasquatch on the Eiffel Tower, etc. Yep, I'm a strange puppy.

Did this for DAx' tribute DVD...shortly after UCLA pounded the UofA in softball. Took so much self control not to slip in a couple of wildcat logos (hey, vengeance is allowed to be funny). lol. Please no reposting, avatars, etc.

There is nothing pure about this, yet I find it strangely humorous. So out of character, & cobbled together artwise from assorted left overs. And yet, I rather like it. No reposting or avatars please.

Whoops, got them reversed. Meant to post this 1 first & the windswept version second. Ah well. No big diff. Did the whole wind effect as a parody of the women's hair since it struck me as funny, but I'm not sure it works.

This one is purely for the funny. My tribute to a scene that made me laugh during a week I desperately needed it. I can't decide whether I like this version best though...or the next.

Been playing w/this all evening. Not sure it's done yet, but it's coming together. Wanted something pretty but kind of melancholy. Background from scratch, though I started w/the one from the last piece (which was also from scratch). Went for a pastel look. Prob needs more work overall, but getting close.
