Grady health and medical journalism grad student Kathleen Raven (center) is one of 20 students from across the nation selected to staff the Google-sponsored student newsroom for Online News Association's 2011 conference in Boston. 2010 Bateman Team member Kristin Ballard was in New York City to accept the team's 2011 PRSA Silver Anvil Award, the most prestigious honor for professional public relations campaigns. The student campaign, which promoted the 2010 Census for the U.S. Census Bureau, competed against seasoned professionals and agencies. 6-9-11

Delta Air Lines president Ed Bastian presented the keynote address at Grady's Spring 2011 Convocation. He's shown with advertising major Kristyn DeMaeyer who won two first-class round trip tickets to anywhere in the world Delta flies. 5-12-11
