This past weekend, the autumn colors were at their peak. I did a High Cliff State Park photo walk with my photo group and decided to capture the sun setting over Lake Winnebago. Those few moments when the sun is close to the horizon happens very quickly! Right as this was happening...cue the row boat! Mother Nature has the best movie sets...

Rest in peace Steve Jobs. Wow. The world has lost a true visionary and I've lost a personal hero. So sad.

The quality of light this time of year is my favorite thing about living in Wisconsin! I shot this yesterday at the 1,000 Islands Nature Preserve hiking with my nephew.

I took my nephew to 1,000 Islands Nature Center today to a hike along the river to look at the amazing changing colors. We stumbled upon this little doe. Not sure who was more curious!

It was a beautiful night at the hot air balloon rally in Seymour, WI. There's something quite magical about hot air balloons to me.

Had a nice night at the Green Bay Farmers Market. It was a little hot and very crowded, but felt good to be outside and not deal with 100% humidity!
