At only 3 Champ a beautiful, sweet-spirited German Shepherd has had it tough in his young life, his owner became ill, he became displaced and while in rescue diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia needing a total hip replacement. His first surgery will cost $5,000 and we need your help to make it happen.

Lucy was lost Monday August 13 2012 in the Highland, Fidelity, Grove, Wellborn Road, Montclair, Fairview, George Bush area near the A&M campus. Sweet little Puggle boy was adopted out to someone who turned out to be HORRIBLY wrong!!! This poor pup endured many beatings from the owners boyfriend!! FINALLY, she called out for help and this dogs needs help NOW.

He is being held in a location where he absolutely CANNOT STAY. The person who has him is in Cape May County south New Jersey. She is doing the best she can to house and protect him, but honestly, he's in a crate all the time right now. She's crying for him, because she see's how wonderful he is and how much potential he has. PLEASE, reach out to help him!!

He is a Loving little boy who needs Special attention at this time, so we wouldn't suggest children at this point. He NEEDS to be in the right situation to get him over his trauma.

Please share!! Heartbreaking!! Adopter or Foster Needed!! The owner of this adorable pair (kitty & cocker spaniel) checked into the hospital to die. Brandy and Pookie are completely bonded. They sleep together and curl up together and cry for each other when they are separated :( The shelter has them caged together during the day when they are able to. I know this is a tough sell; Both are approximately 12 years old; a cat AND a dog. The cat has diabetes which is managed with special food. The dog has cushings which is managed with medication. We are even willing to sponsor their meds every month for an adopter. We just want these two out! Both are said to be very sweet and calm. This little bonded duo are currently located in NY. The Animal Control Officer for the Monmouth County SPCA has found a beautiful sky blue eye, male husky. He was found with a choke chain around his neck in the Port Monmouth Road in Middletown, NJ. If you have any information or know the owner, please contact the Animal Shelter at 732-542-0040.

I am looking for a new home for my dog, Brewer. He is an 18 month old Lab mix. He is fixed and up to date with all of his shots. I can arrange for his medical records to be sent by Dr. Marty Friedman of A&A Veterinary Hospital if needed. Brewer is house broken and crate trained. He can sit, lay down and shake on command. He loves to play fetch, take walks, jog on his leash (I've taken him 2 miles and he's less taxed than me) and be scratched behind his ears. Brewer quickly attaches to anyone that shows him love.

He has been restricted to dog food (morning and evening) and has not shown an inclination to try to take people food off of tables. He knows that he's not allowed on couches or beds and respects any rule that is consistently enforced.

Brewer is more comfortable with teenagers and adults than he is with small children. However, his discomfort around small children generally manifests itself as submission rather than aggression.

Brewer would make an ideal companion for any adult or addition to any family without small children.

This is Bandit's story,
On September 30, 2011, Jaxon found Bandit at a bus stop. Not sure if the owner left him there, hoping that he would catch the next bus out of town, or if he ran away from home. He was chipped and several calls were made, to the owner, but they never called back. Bandit was healthy when he was found, so we believe he had not been on the loose very long. Jaxon took him home to his apartment and has been caring for him ever since, but things are changing quickly and we need to find Bandit a home as Jaxon cannot keep him much longer (Jaxon is losing his own home). Bandit is now current on his shots, is neutered and ready to go to a new home. He weighs about 48 lbs, is around 5 to 6 years old and is good with cats and dogs and possible kids. Bandit has a great personality and is a sweet and calm and loves to play every chance he gets, which is not too often. Money will be collected to help get him treated for heartworms.

I would really like to see this sweet boy have a second chance in a loving home. We have tried very hard to place him somewhere around Atlanta but not having much luck. When Jaxon loses his apartment, he will have no choice but to take him to animal control, most rescue groups are full. The situation does not look good for Bandit, and that is why I am reaching out for help, I’m hoping someone will see him and fall in love with him.

Soft spot for seniors? Meet Billy the 13 yr. old Boxer who was brought to the Woodbridge Animal Shelter and reported as a stray by HIS OWN FAMILY who didn't want him anymore. They didn't even have the heart to help him get out of the car and treated him as if they didn't care. Needless to say, Billy didn't want to leave his people and even clawed to get back to them. Their response was to simply drive away. Billy is deaf and is scared. He will be heartworm and lyme tested this week, hopefully he will test negative because his life was spent tethered outdoors. This boy deserves only the best from this point on. He is thoroughly enjoying the comforts of indoor living, especially the nice cozy blankets.

He's a very sweet boy who is altered, UTD, and micro chipped!! He doesn't mind mellow dogs . He knows all his commands and is just wonderful. It never ceases to amaze me that people can just disregard these older boys and then let them go... He likes to be petted and really just needs a place to lay his head.
