Ty's set to reveal some new stuff that we've been waiting to tell you guys about for a loooong time! So we're nervous for that, and also Ty, who just LOVES live television interviews. (Not really.) You can watch SpikeTV online here: http://j.mp/xSylL3

This is what @brandonjcarr wins for being so goshderned quick on the reply draw this afternoon. We'll do more boxes like this next week (too much stuff just sitting around) but can't promise we'll have more candy! Sorry!

We got this photo last night from @dc_graves (photographer) & @thechibiknight (pictured) and had to ask about the circumstances. @dc_graves wrote:
"The story behind the photo is basically this: my fellow geek friend, Shaun (in the photo) ordered the sleeping bag several months ago and actually sleeps in it every night on top of his bed. He loves it!
"Early this morning at about 0330, we received a good 6 inches of snow on the ground for the first time this year at our FOB near Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. Shaun knocked on my door and said "Pics with the TaunTaun.. NOW!", so I was happy to oblige. There's a large, open area that we walked out to so that it'd look like he was in a relatively remote location and that's where he got into character. Snapped a few shots at different angles. My favorite is obviously the one I PhotoShopped the running troopers and AT-ATs into."
Thanks for the photo and your service, guys! Glad our Tauntaun is doing its part, too.

That's the inimitable Ellen McLain, the voice of GLaDOS, posing with Chell Timmy. She was very friendly and didn't even call Timmy out on his recent weight gain! Thank you, Ellen--and Jeremy Miller, who made this adorable moment possible!

Timmy would wish you a happy new year if he hadn't faceplanted into a pile of chips. So we'll say it for him--Happy New Year from all of us here at ThinkGeek!

Monkeys have been spotted at the local @Dogfishbeer alehouse! Mmm, Beer.

Monkeys making merry? ZOMG faces? Proof of a successful Secret Timmy gift exchange at ThinkGeek HQ? We think so.

From Pure Geek at http://www.geekbookofdays.com/archives/673 because we might take the server down if we link directly and that's never any fun. (Okay, it's fun, but not very nice.)

And yes, we have PotatOS in stock! http://j.mp/s3qUnU
You can see the puncture wounds on the front potato, and the photo on the right is our prototype. Please note the rust and blotchy spot from the potato juices. Science isn't pretty, folks; and we do ours from scratch. No handholding.

Fire? YES PLEASE. We couldn't help but try out one of our new Sky Lanterns--and it only looked like we would set the building ablaze for a few seconds. More photos of our lanterns: http://j.mp/tOq2sh

The $100 code FASTERFASTER@N62 is good for $100 off any order ($1 or above) shipping anywhere we normally ship. The code is NOT yours until you've fully, completely checked out and it will ONLY work once--for the first person who checkouts with it. (Adding it to your order is not enough; payment must be complete.) If you think you have checked out without it by accident and you don't want that order to go through, DM or email us your order number to replybot at thinkgeek.com and we'll check to make sure you weren't accidentally charged.
NOTE TO PAYPAL USERS: You'll probably never be able to win a coupon because PayPal checkout requires us to handle your purchase off the site. Taking you off the site to complete your purchase means you'll never be fast enough to checkout first. The end.

Last week TG HQ got upgraded with some new signs and awesomeness! Here are a few, most of which speak for themselves: Bartertown, where all the merchant monkeys sit, now has a ceiling cat; the designerds are now the Ministry of Pixel Adjustments; and Ty got a sign that's so long--just like his product titles, see--that it took two photographs to capture. We teased more pics on G+ (we are there now!) on Monday: http://j.mp/smmT4x

Yoshi is codemonkey Jacob's cat, and he stops by for a visit every now and then to make sure we're getting enough cat-petting time in. Very considerate of him.

We recently found this tin of magnetic thinking putty at TG HQ. The note is cryptic but accurate--it does smell a little off. But that's okay; you really shouldn't eat it anyways. (No, really, that's not safe. Don't anybody bet your friends to eat it.) Reply to @thinkgeek with hashtag #stinkymass by 1pm ET to enter to randomly win it!
