The French coastal city of Cannes is playing host to 27 UGA students participating in Grady's Cannes Film Festival Study Abroad. The popular program is led by Grady telecommunication profs Nate Kohn and Jennifer Smith. 5-29-12

Advertising campaigns class does have its perks! Bob Evans meat products and garlic mashed potatoes were featured in a Drewry Room Tasting Event this afternoon. Bob Evans Restaurants is a client of the advertising campaigns class this semester. The tasting helped students familiarize themselves with Evans' diverse product line. 1-26-12

Broadcast news major Marilin Goff served as Distinguished Senior Orator at Grady's Fall 2011 Convocation. She held the highest GPA among graduating seniors. At Convocation, she delivered a speech entitled “Life Lessons from Grady College.” 12-15-11

Roger Strauss, senior director at CNN and a 1980 Grady alumnus, served as keynote speaker at Grady's Fall 2011 Convocation. In his address, entitled "Right Place, Right Time," Strauss shared his personal journey and offered important advice to the students. 12-15-11
