The mansion at 247 Central Park West has had a rocky relationship with the real estate market in the past: former owner and Coach COO Keith Monda once wanted $32 million for the place but had to cut that price all the way to $22.375 million before selling the house early last year. The buyer is making no particular attempt to learn from Monda's example—he or she (masked by a corporation) has just listed the house for $37 million. The annual taxes add another $44,000 to that.
