I'm sorta confused! The model number will not affect the soft unlock nor what carrier I use in any way right?? That's just to be shore it's legit? Thnx before hand

The unlock happens to BASEBAND. Firmware version is almost irrelevant. Musclenerd upgraded his firmware using PWN tool which kept BASEBAND from being upgraded :)
